Each film coated extended release tablet contains:
Teneligliptin Hydrobromide Hydrate IP
Equivalent to Teneligliptin 20 mg
Teneligliptin is used to control type-2 diabetes mellitus.
It belongs to the dipeptidyl 4 peptidase inhibitors and is advised to take along with exercise and diet.
It is better tolerable then other antidiabetic drug and helps to control level of sugar in blood.

Mechanism of Action
Teneligliptin works by increasing the release of insulin from the pancreas and helps to maintain the proper level of hormones which regulates the insulin in the body.
Teneligliptin increases the level of incretins i.e. GLP (glucagon like peptides) which present in the gut. It does it by inhibiting the enzyme dipeptidyl peptidase.

- Headache
- Hypoglycaemia
- Nasopharyngitis
- Upper respiratory tract infections
Contraindications
- Contraindicated in people with known hypersensitivity
- Contraindicated in severe ketoacidosis, severe trauma
- Contraindicated in diabetic coma
Precaution
Consult the doctor if he or she have some liver disorders
Caution
It is used cautiously in people with congestive heart failure.
